Rights of Participants

Right of access

As a participant in filling in the brochure access form, you may contact us to get our confirmation that we process or we do not process your data. To do this, please contact us at contact@hairodot.com with any queries or questions.

Right to Withdraw Consent

If your data is processed, you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal of accord or consent to the processing of your personal data has the effect of terminating communications and data processing, as well as our collaboration. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing under consent prior to its withdrawal.

Right to Rectification

As a participant, you have the right to rectify incomplete information or wrong information that we have about you. You can ask separately whether data is processed or not and, if so, you may request access to and certain information about these data. You must be aware that any rectification may be made within a period of at least one month, but – under special conditions – this period may be extended to two months, in which case you will be informed of the extension.

Right to Object

If your personal data is processed as a participant, you have the right to disagree at any time about processing your data. It applies only to the particular situations or cases you are in; it is your right to request that your data be not processed for the purpose of creating profiles. An exception to this rule is when there are legitimate reasons that prevail over your right to oppose, such as: finding, exercising or defending a right in a Court of law – one of yourself or of another user.

Right to Restrict Processing

As a participant, you have the right to obtain from us a restriction on the processing of your personal data, as provided in the Personal Data Protection Act. When correcting incorrect or inaccurate data, you may request that access be restricted during the period of data verification and rectification. If you find that processing is illegal, but you do not want to delete your personal data, you may request instead the restriction of its use. If our company no longer needs your personal data or the storage deadline is met, but you want to keep it for use in court action. If you are against further processing, you may request that access to your personal data be restricted as long as we verify that our legitimate rights as operators prevail over your right to object to processing. Also, if there is a situation of lifting the restriction on processing, you will be informed in due time.

Right to Data Portability

As a participant, you have the right to receive from us your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format, and to transmit these data independently to third parties, if the processing is based on your consent and is done by automatic means.

Right to Erasure (‘Right to be forgotten’)

As a participant, you have the right to delete your personal data that we process in our system. We may not be able to immediately delete data that we have in our servers and backup systems. These copies of your personal information will be deleted as soon as possible. The situations in which we do not have an obligation to respond to your request to delete your personal data are: the exercise of the freedom of expression and information rights; compliance with a legal obligation; reasons of public interest, in the field of public health; archiving purposes for public interest, scientific or historical research, or for statistical purposes; establishing, exercising or defending a right in court.

How You Can Use Your Rights

In order to exercise any of the above rights, you must first send an email to the email address you can find in the Contact section. We may need some additional information to confirm your identity. We can also reject claims that are unreasonable, excessive or unfounded.

Security of Personal Data

Data Security is extremely important to us, so we use administrative procedures, methods and measures to ensure that all collected or processed data is kept secure. We review and improve these processes on a regular basis, although it should be taken into account that while we implement measures that protect personal data, no Security system is 100% safe. This is the reason why we can not guarantee that all data that you transmit over the internet or stored in our system are fully secured against any kind of intrusion. We also have the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption protocol, labelled with the lock icon.

Changes to Privacy Policy

Occasionally, we will make changes to our privacy policy. If these changes are significant, we will post a notice on our website, although we recommend that you verify our privacy policy on a regular basis.
